Is there a way to record Netflix? Yes, but remember, Netflix prohibits recording content. If you’re worried about getting your account banned, you can save Netflix streams instead.
Netflix allows you to download content. Once you’ve downloaded it, you can watch it without an internet connection, including on a TV or smart TV. The process is simple and can be done on almost any device with a Netflix app, be it an iPad, iPhone, Android, Mac, or PC.
- First, open the Netflix app and find something to download. Unfortunately, not everything is available for download. TV shows and movies that can be downloaded will have the Download icon present. That icon looks like an arrow pointing down at a line.
- You can browse downloadable content to avoid wasting your time. On an iPhone, iPad, Android, or Fire device, you first need to tap the My Netflix button. Next, tap Downloads, and then See What You Can Download.
- If you’re on a PC, click the More option. It’s an icon with three lines on top of one another. Next, click My Downloads, and finally, Find Something to Download.
- The process is most simple on Chromebooks. Just click Downloads and then Find More to Download.
- Once you’ve found the content you want to download, simply click the Download icon. You can download specific episodes of a TV show or an entire season if you are using an Android device or Fire tablet.
The number of downloads you can have at a single time and on a specific device is restricted based on your Netflix subscription plan. You should be allowed 100 downloads per device, though that could change if more devices are attached to a single subscription.
